The role:

We are seeking motivated undergraduate nursing student to undertake the role of Patient Care Orderly (PCO) within the ICU team at St. Vincent's Private Hospital Sydney. This is a casual role to assist the team between Monday and Saturday. 8 and 12 hr day shifts available.
 

This rewarding role will offer you the unique opportunity to work with the ICU team, and gain exposure to the Intensive Care environment. All training will be provided to the successful applicant.

You will work under the direction and supervision of the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) or equivalent and will make a positive contribution to patient care through assistance and support to our Registered Nurses and the department. You will be responsible for cleaning, restocking, and assisting with the transporting and manual handling of patients safely in the Intensive Care department and throughout the hospital.

This is an excellent opportunity for an undergraduate nurse who may be considering a role in ICU in the future, and want to gain valuable exposure.
