We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst to join our team within Marsh Technology business.
This role is ideal for candidates who are eager to start their career in software asset management and IT operations. While prior experience in SAM is preferred, it is not required.
We will count on you to:
Manage and process a high volume of software asset management tickets efficiently and accurately;
Assist in tracking and maintaining software licenses and entitlements to ensure compliance;
Support software inventory audits and reconciliation activities.
Collaborate with IT, procurement, and vendor management teams to maintain accurate software asset records;
Identify and escalate potential compliance risks or discrepancies;
Document processes and maintain clear communication with stakeholders;
Work independently to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while also contributing effectively as part of a team;
Continuously learn and develop knowledge of software asset management best practices and tools;
What would you need to have:
Some exposure to Software Asset Management concepts or tools is a plus but not mandatory;
Experience in roles requiring processing a high volume of tickets, such as technical support, help desk, or software testing;
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment;
Proficient with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite);
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities;
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment;
