Job Description

This role is responsible for oversight of planograms and fixture & shelf-level accessory project management for New Stores, Remodels and Reflow projects impacting sales floor areas of the store. These projects are a key component of expanding our reach to serve new customers and support the flywheel to nourish people and the planet. Operational excellence is a key priority for this leader.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team responsible for planogram creation for all merchant areas supported by planograms in support of New Stores, Remodels, and Reflows as well as stand-alone fixture installation and selection of shelf-level accessories.
  • Leads procedure, process, and tools for planogramming, stand-alone fixture installation and selection of shelf-level accessories (ex. pushers, dividers, gravity shelves).
  • Consults and partners with Merchandising Execution, Floor Planning, and Store Design to review, plan and execute all projects within communicated deadlines.
  • Oversees the project management of stand-alone fixture project installation and selection of shelf-level accessories in partnership with Store Design, Construction, Merchants and Macro Space Analytics.
  • Serves as an integral part of the Merchandising Presentation leadership team, cultivating partnerships to ensure understanding of evolving merchandising strategies, special projects and intersection of this team’s work with the run the business resets.
  • Leads adoption and change management in support of changes to tools and processes.
  • Leads team project tracking and risk escalation to leadership.
  • Breaks down milestone-based timelines into task level work for the team to establish clear expectations on projects.
  • Institutes validation mechanisms to ensure operational excellence in deliverables, budget and timing.
  • Works closely with stakeholders includes Store Design, Retail Operations, Merchants and Macro Space Analytics to troubleshoot obstacles.
  • Contributes to functional strategy development, priority setting, budget planning, and resource allocation.

Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS degree and 4-6 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 0-2 years’ leadership experience.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

  • Ability to physically perform general office requirements.
  • Overnight travel required.
