Job Description

This position is responsible for collaborating with different cross sections of the business to support objectives and growth strategies. Become fluent in business processes, provide recommendations, project proposals to management. Become an Oracle subject matter expert for all Nidec Power Americas locations.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate, timely, and informative business information and insights to key-decision makers within the organization.
  • Design, build, and optimize relevant data for financial, sales, and operational reporting.
  • Assist the business with detailed analysis for internal and external reporting requirements
  • Lead and build relationships with cross functional teams to enhance productivity and efficiency within all Nidec Power Americas facilities.
  • Create standard work documentation for business related processes and train the business process owners
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and plant capabilities along the overall business strategy to anticipate and address current and future business needs.
  • Act as the liaison between Information Systems and the business as a whole.
  • Assist the finance/accounting team as necessary
  • Develop and design KPIs and Dashboards.
  • Leverage new technology with Oracle and other applications to improve daily operations.

Experience/Skills:

  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Expert level Financial Oracle experience related modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
  • Superior MS Office Skills, including advanced Excel, Word, and Power Point skills
  • Strong business acumen along with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of financial statements
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-Motivated, proactive and flexible
  • Strong communication and team/relationship building skills
  • Strong organization with attention to detail
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Education:

  • B.S. in Accounting or Finance
