Job Description:

Brokerage Senior Assistant

The Brokerage Senior Assistant will mainly focus on the finance aspect of Customs Brokerage, handling the duty & tax payment to the government, monitoring the call & collect team, and process goodwill and billing adjustment.

This position will also partner closely with Finance and Operation team to ensure smooth process on day-to-day basis.

Job Description

• Executing daily brokerage transactions (Duty & Tax Process) and operational activities (Call & Collect)
• Prepare, review, and verify trade documentation, confirmations, and settlement records
• Coordinate with operations, finance, resolve transaction issues
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients on Duty & Tax related inquiries
• Monitor transaction limits, documentation completeness, and risk indicators
• Handle escalated client queries with professionalism and efficiency (Billing Adjustment & Good Will)
• Prepare regular brokerage reports (daily, weekly, monthly) including transaction volume and performance metrics
• Provide guidance and on-the-job support to administrative staff (Call & Collect)

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• 5-10 years of experience in Finance, collection & brokerage operations, or a related role
• Experience supporting brokerage, or sales teams is strongly preferred
