The Brand Advertising Lead is the driving force behind our advertising strategy. In this role, you will shape and execute our advertising strategy, ensuring it aligns with and strengthens our corporate identity and organizational priorities. Your responsibilities include collaborating with internal teams and external agencies, overseeing enterprise efforts, inclusive of brand campaigns, trade show advertising, and managing creative project requests. 

 

This position is to be located at one of the following locations: Falls Church, VA; Los Angeles, CA; Rolling Meadows, IL; New York, NY with options for hybrid work. Teleworking arrangements are subject to change based on the needs of the business. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Define and drive the advertising strategy, harmonizing with our branding ethos and company objectives.  

  • Serve as the primary liaison with our advertising partners, ensuring campaigns remain on schedule and aligned with brand standards and business priorities. 

  • Engineer cross-sector marketing synergy, uniting diverse teams under a shared strategic umbrella. 

  • Plan and coordinate advertising efforts for trade shows, maximizing brand visibility and engagement. 

  • Manage adhoc and off-cycle advertising requests with agility, driving timely and effective execution and cohesion into our larger strategy. 

  • Oversee creative project requests and public release system approvals, maintaining compliance with organizational processes. 

  • Manage the partnership for SEM initiatives to optimize search visibility and performance. 

  • Support budget process with ongoing billing and invoice management and maintenance.

Basic Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience OR Master's degree with 3 years of related experience.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.  

  • Ability to collaborate with and influence individual contributors, communications teams, managers and executives across Communications organizations.  

  • Skilled in managing multiple projects/activities simultaneously and meeting deadlines.  

  • Ability to work with MS Office product suite including exceptional PowerPoint and Excel skills. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication, organization, negotiation and troubleshooting skills. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate and present . 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working at a brand or advertising agency.

  • Experience working in a large, matrixed and/or geographically dispersed organization.  

  • Experience working for or with military, defense, aerospace or technology companies.  

  • Ability to contribute to the completion of organizational projects and goals with minimal supervision.  

  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders with differing perspectives, including handling challenging situations with diplomacy and tact.  

  • Energetic team presence with an eagerness to learn and recommend new and innovative ideas to foster strategic objectives.  

  • A passion for staying ahead of industry trends and a curiosity to explore new ideas and possibilities.  

Salary Range: $80,600.00 - $133,100.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
