Job Description

We are seeking a Associate Director – Data & Analytics to lead and manage our Data & Analytics program in the Professional Services vertical. This role requires a strong technical foundation, strategic vision, and leadership to drive the development and delivery of scalable data engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will oversee data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives and its delivery while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Program Management

  • Define and execute the Data & Analytics strategy, aligning with business goals in the Professional Services sector. Big 4 experience is a plus
  • Lead end-to-end program management, ensuring the successful delivery of data solutions with high performance, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define key metrics, reporting frameworks, and analytics roadmaps.
  • Delivery all projects on time, budget and with high quality.

Technical Leadership & Solution Design

  • Oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of data platforms using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Unity Catalog, SQL Warehouse, and Azure Data Lake.
  • Provide technical guidance on .NET, Angular applications integrated with analytics and visualization platforms like Power BI.
  • Optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and data governance policies to support enterprise data management.
  • Ensure best practices in data security, compliance, and governance using Azure technologies.
  • Engage with technology partners such as Microsoft, Databricks to drive the roadmap forward.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, BI developers, and analytics professionals.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the Data & Analytics team.
  • Engage with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to drive adoption and effectiveness of data solutions.

Performance Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor and enhance the performance of data solutions, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
  • Identify emerging technologies and trends to enhance data capabilities within the organization.
  • Develop and implement data quality and data governance frameworks for better decision-making.

Key Qualifications & Skills

Technical Skills

  • Data Engineering & Analytics: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Unity Catalog, SQL Warehouse, Azure Data Lake.
  • Programming & Development: .NET, Angular, SQL.
  • BI & Visualization: Power BI.
  • Cloud & DevOps: Strong experience with Azure cloud platforms, security, and governance best practices.

Leadership & Management

  • 12+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or related roles.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale data engineering programs in a Professional Services environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to drive data-driven decision-making and business value realization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in working with Big 4 or other large consulting firms.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and advanced analytics.
  • Certifications in Azure, Data Engineering, or related fields.
