Job Title: Platform Technical Consultant - Oracle R12 & 11i ERP

Job Description: 
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS ERP Platform support consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should manage and maintain the Oracle EBS platform, ensuring its stability, performance, and system security, including tasks like installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting. Candidate should also handle User Access Management  

Key Responsibilities: 

Platform Management:   

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle EBS applications and databases. 

• Monitor system health, performance, and resource utilization.]   

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including patching, upgrades, and cloning.  

• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, ensuring minimal downtime.    

• Manage user access and security controls. 

Database Administration:  

• Manage Oracle databases supporting EBS applications.  

• Perform database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning. 

• Optimize database performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.   

• Work with development and infrastructure teams to optimize queries, indexes, and overall system performance. 

Application Support:   

• Provide support for EBS applications, addressing user issues and service requests.   

• Collaborate with development teams to implement new features and enhancements.    

• Participate in project activities, including planning, design, and implementation.   

Other Tasks: 

• Develop and maintain technical documentation.  

• Adhere to security policies and procedures. 

• Work closely with other IT teams, such as Unix admins and middleware teams. 

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:  

• Provide technical support for Oracle EBS applications, resolving platform related issues and incidents, and ensuring smooth system operation. 

Mentoring:  

• Mentor junior consultants, providing guidance and support. Contribute to the development of best practices and processes. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.  

• 5+ years of experience working with Oracle EBS Platform support.  

• Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS architecture and technologies.  

• Experience with Oracle database administration (SQL, PL/SQL).  

• Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Linux, Unix).  

• Experience with middleware technologies (e.g., WebLogic).  

• Knowledge of identity management, networking and security concepts.  

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues and provide effective solutions. 

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with application teams and business users. 

• Experience with Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) is a plus.   

• Experience with Oracle Workflow is a plus. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experienced with SDLC/Agile methodologies and project management tools.  

• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or Oracle Cloud implementations is a plus.
