About the Role

The individual is responsible for developing our Leaders in the Tied Distribution (TD)sales force by providing timely and relevant training programmes to achieve business outcomes.

Role & Responsibility

  • Lead and develop a team of trainers, ensuring they are motivated and competent to deliver agreed training outcomes aligned to business outcomes.
  • Identify Leaders’ training gaps, develop and deliver training solutions in a timely manner
  • Develop & deploy e-Learning modules for Leaders’ training programmes
  • Evaluate effectiveness of training programmes and provide solutions for on-going improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate best practices into training programmes
  • Facilitate activity management events for aspiring and existing Leaders
  • Provide regular reports of training activities and outcomes
  • Plan for training schedules on a regular basis
  • Work collaboratively within and across teams on Leadership development projects / events
  • Engage and build rapport with Leaders and communicate the company’s standards and expectations
  • Liaise with and onboard external training vendor(s)

Requirements

  • To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience leading a team of trainers
  • Possess a strong understanding of the insurance distribution landscape
  • Be highly polished and comfortable in interacting with stakeholders to influence with a collaborative approach within a result-oriented organization
  • Have certifications in and be able to deliver training programs, both in-person and virtually
  • Be resourceful and constantly updated with market development and holds extensive network with external providers and partners
  • Think independently and proactively implement data-driven recommendations
