Role Summary

This position is responsible for managing and maintaining the assets, applications and related infrastructure. The person shall identify, diagnose and rectify any issues with assets, software, services, and applications.

Responsibilities:

• System and Application Management: Install, configure and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
• Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage hardware, virtual machines, EPBX, cloud services, network devices like routers and switches.
• Performance and Availability: Proactively monitor systems, network performance, and backups to ensure high levels of availability and performance.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security measures, such as firewalls and VPNs, and ensure infrastructure adheres to security standards.
• Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure business operations can continue in the event of a disruption.
• Technical Support: Provide escalation support for network/Server issues and offer technical guidance to other IT staff.
• Work with development and security teams to ensure seamless integration and appropriate environments for applications.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies.
• Asset Management: Manage assets and its budgets, related software purchases & Inventory.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology/Electronics and Communication/Electrical & Electronics with 5-8 years of related experience
• Proficiency in operating systems (Windows Server administration).
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure and SQL Server and other databases
• Experience working with programing languages Java, C++, ASP.Net is a plus

• Experience managing servers, firewalls, and network configurations
• Strong understanding of virtualisation tools like VMware or Hyper-V
• Skilled in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN setups
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Experience implementing monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery plans
• Ability to troubleshoot complex performance and connectivity issues
• Good time management skills.
