Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced SFCC Tech Lead to join our support team and drive the development, enhancement, and maintenance of our Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in SFCC, covering both backend and frontend development, along with a deep understanding of e-commerce best practices. As a Tech Lead, you will manage a team of developers, ensure high-quality code delivery, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and performant e-commerce solutions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of SFCC solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Review code and provide constructive feedback to maintain high code quality.
Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to define technical requirements and align solutions with business goals.
Develop and customize SFCC features, including controllers, pipelines, cartridges, and jobs.
Integrate SFCC with third-party systems such as payment gateways, OMS, and CRM platforms.
Optimize UI/UX for a seamless customer experience.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure platform stability, security, and scalability.
Manage a team of SFCC developers, conducting code reviews and driving technical excellence.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
6+ years of experience in SFCC (Demandware) development and implementation.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and SCSS.
Expertise in SFCC development frameworks, including Controllers, Pipelines, and SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture).
Experience with ISML, Demandware Script, and OCAPI (Open Commerce API).
Hands-on experience with RESTful and SOAP API integration.
Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and version control using Git.
Experience with performance tuning and caching strategies in SFCC.
Familiarity with e-commerce analytics, SEO best practices, and personalization.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile development environment.
