Job Description

In this role, you will:

  • Accountable for all aspects of Infrastructure including systems specification and design, ensuring high availability, scalability, disaster recovery, and compatibility with enterprise architectures

  • Selects appropriate design standards, methods and tools validating they are applied effectively

  • Advises system development teams on cloud technology design options

  • Conducts research on emerging technologies in support of cloud and infrastructure development efforts and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility

  • Develops and maintains cloud standards and common services

  • Participates in the assessment, impact analysis, and selection of cloud-based solution

  • Guides K-C staff and external partners in the daily operations of cloud infrastructure solutions Participates in the resolution of urgent and complex technical issues Investigates design and functionality issues, making recommendations for remedial action

  • Ensure the risks associated with the use of cloud technology are understood and that measures to mitigate the risk are adopted where appropriate. Designs solutions with appropriate privileged access management, in compliance with security policies and best practices

In one of our technical roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years IT technical experience in implementing servers, storage, security, and network infrastructure

  • 7+ years of implementing and supporting cloud infrastructure solutions, preferably in Microsoft Azure

  • Technical knowledge and expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, Linux, IIS, Active Directory, Virtualization/VMWare, network routing, switching, segmentation and firewalls

  • Demonstrated ability to automate all provisioning and operational functions associated with hosting solutions.  Includes knowledge of languages such as PowerShell, Terraform, or C#.
