Roles and Responsibilities
The Modality Leader updates management on evolving market and customer needs to drive continuous product innovation adapted to local requirements. They contribute to the Marketing Plan in collaboration with the Marketing Manager and coordinate execution with all stakeholders.
This role includes direct management of Product Sales Specialists (PSS), Product Specialists (PS), or Applications Specialists (AS) in the assigned sub-region, and indirect management of distributor teams. The Modality Leader also supports coordination of One GEHC account activities with Account Managers/Executives to maximize business results and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Achieve quarterly and yearly P&L Operating Plan targets (Orders, Sales, Contribution Margin, Base Costs, Operating Margin, Cash).
Ensure timely and accurate forecasting of pipeline and sales.
Provide input to yearly business planning cycles (Growth Playbook, Session II, win-loss analysis, marketing planning).
Develop deep clinical and technical knowledge, including awareness of healthcare technology trends and funding mechanisms.
Continuously update understanding of customers’ evolving clinical and operational challenges.
Analyze market dynamics and competition to identify business opportunities.
Educate and coach teams on differentiation (positioning, value proposition, key messages).
Execute strategies with Key Opinion Leaders; maintain relationships with academia, government, and professional societies.
Ensure teams have up-to-date knowledge of product positioning and differentiation.
Determine market potential and prioritize opportunities with marketing and sales teams.
Attract, retain, and develop world-class commercial talent.
Communicate operating plan targets to PSS/PS/AS.
Ensure compliance with regional sales processes and rules of engagement.
Uphold highest standards of promotion compliance with international/local regulations and GEHC codes.
Adhere to GEHC promotion compliance policies and training requirements.
Identify and report compliance concerns; take corrective action.
Quality Specific Goals
Comply with GEHC Quality Manual, QMS, Quality Policy, and applicable laws/regulations.
Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training on time.
Report quality/compliance concerns and take corrective action.
Understand Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies.
Understand Environmental Health Policies (EHS, Fleet Rules, etc.) and operate within them.
Drive continuous improvement for process standardization and simplification.
Bachelor’s degree.
Proven experience in Sales/Marketing management within Healthcare, with in-depth knowledge of Monitoring business.
Strong knowledge of GEHC and Monitoring Systems products/services.
Experience in people management, leadership, sales coaching, and team building.
Strong business acumen; financial and organizational skills.
Advanced negotiation, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
High-level presentation and interpersonal skills; able to build strategic relationships.
Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport across all organizational levels.
Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment with customer-first attitude.
Fluency in English & Arabic.
