Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Lead technology and architecture exploration with internal and external stakeholders, define architecture design of component and system, and conform to architecture principles, organizing reviews of your architectural design with colleagues, contribute to overall architecture and technology roadmap definition and drive roadmap implementation, in addition to those with the other architects or senior technology specialist. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation and optimization of AI technologies that meet our clients' needs and enhance our product offerings. Your technical expertise will contribute to the effective implementation of AI projects and support ongoing business growth.

You are responsible for

• Build and own Philips Innovation China (PIC) AI architecture, solutions architectures and technical roadmap based on China market requirements, trends, landscapes and China customers’ needs to fit for Philips success in China and global.
• Drive key China technical/solution initiatives as one of leading architects, support China innovation center portfolio management with technical and architecture contents definition and evolution
• Lead use cases, technology and architecture discussion for exploration and definition, provide architecture, design & guidance of technical stacks for R&D teams, identifies and recommends technologies, methodologies, and frameworks for projects
• Work together with research / expert group for high-level platform architecture & framework definition, platform/application design specification, etc.
• Develop and maintain integration frameworks and tools that support efficient deployment and operation of AI models. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.
• Implement best practices for AI integration, ensuring compliance with industry standards and data privacy regulations. Stay updated on the latest AI technologies and integration methodologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Support pre-sales activities and conversation with customers and partners to convey Philips digital/ AI platform and solution vision, strategy and stories.
• Contribute to PIC AI platform and solution adoption, contribute to China Technical Community and IP assets.

You are a part of

You will be part of Philips China Innovation Center, represent PIC in technical and architecture community, and report to PIC head. Meanwhile, your peers look after areas such as portfolio management, product requirements, product development, engineering, verification & validations and other teams. You will also have close interaction with internal/external technical experts.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• A recognized bachelor or higher degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or related majors.
• 10 years + experience in similar technical leader and architect position; ability to discover and gather market opportunities, technical trend, customer requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
• Expert knowledge in healthcare digitalization, software and hardware experience on cross-modality(CT, MR, IGT and US) and AI related technologies, preferred experience in AI frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), hands on software development languages (e.g. Python, Java etc).
• Master of building full stack engineering discipline and practices, including but not limited to AI, IoT, Cloud,  high availability, security, database (SQL and NoSQL) and bigdata, DevOps etc.
• Solid knowledge and proven experience in medical software and hardware, familiar with health AI landscape and ecosystem in China, familiar with open source tools and community.
• Highly self-motivated, ownership mindset and accountability for work, good communication skills, good verbal and writing skills in English, ability to communicate with a wide variety of audiences: portfolio management, product management, engineering, sales, marketing, operation, leadership, and service.
• Good team player in global team structure, strong experiences of leader position in technical domain.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
