If you’re passionate about the magic of live entertainment like we are, and you want to work for a company dedicated to helping millions of fans experience it, we want you on our team.

THE JOB

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer with strong technical leadership and solution architecture experience to drive the modernization of enterprise application platforms. This role requires hands-on development expertise combined with the ability to design scalable, secure, and resilient architectures aligned with business and technical requirements.
You will play a key role in defining technical direction, mentoring team members, and leading modernization initiatives toward cloud-native and event-driven architectures.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Design and implement end-to-end solutions for application modernization initiatives.

  • Define and evolve software architecture for microservices, event-driven, and serverless systems.

  • Lead the decomposition of legacy systems into scalable and maintainable services.

  • Architect and review API designs, messaging patterns, and data flows.

  • Define container strategies and standards using Docker.

  • Guide teams on cloud-native best practices and AWS service adoption.

  • Ensure non-functional requirements such as security, performance, scalability, and reliability.

  • Participate in technical decision-making, architecture reviews, and roadmap planning.

  • Mentor mid-level and junior developers.

  • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Product teams.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Strong experience with backend development using .NET Framework and/or Node.js.

  • Solid frontend knowledge with React and/or Angular.

  • Proven experience designing microservices and distributed systems.

  • Deep knowledge of event-driven architectures.

  • Hands-on experience with Kafka or AWS Kinesis.

  • Strong experience with messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ or AWS SQS.

  • Advanced experience with Docker and container-based application design.

  • Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda).

  • Strong cloud architecture experience, preferably AWS.

  • Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.

  • Strong understanding of application modernization strategies (re-platforming, refactoring, re-architecting)

Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, ECS).

  • Infrastructure as Code expertise (Terraform, CloudFormation).

  • Knowledge of security architecture and cloud governance.

  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools.

  • Familiarity with domain-driven design (DDD) and CQRS.

  • Experience working on large-scale modernization or cloud migration programs.

YOU (BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS)
  • Strong leadership and technical decision-making skills.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical architectures.

  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ownership mindset and accountability for solution outcomes.

  • Ability to mentor, guide, and influence development teams.

  • Proactive problem-solving with a strategic perspective.

  • Experience working in Agile environments at scale.
