*Role Summary:
The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting and managing a variety of customer facing analytics needs including, but not limited to, forecast projections, market level pricing, region / industry / product performance (and combinations therein), and various dashboard development as required by the Commercial organization. They will work collaboratively with a variety of functions notwithstanding the Sales and Commercial Operations teams to align these analytics with business strategies and objectives.
*Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Responsible for Customer Data Analysis, Reporting, and presentation in the field, inclusive of technical and commercial data with inventory recommendations & solutions for end user customers.
- Individual will be working with large & multiple data sets, in various Microsoft environments, and expected to merge and present accurate data sets to support regional parts growth.
- Individual will lead NA growth initiatives within the region, coordinating efforts between teams for growth and revenue results.
- Individual will train ComOps associates on application of analytical tools, process(s), and systems to drive a larger community supporting sales with analysis, reports, trends, and recommendations.
- Compliance to global standardization and alignment to Customer Requirements is mandatory. The position will interact with Customers and Sales, and across different functions, mainly Business Intelligence, Engineering, Operations, and Regional Leadership, which is key to drive project execution, while partnering with the varying Parts Quoting Hubs to support customer base.
- The individual will need to be customer aligned and driven for results in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring effective communication and collaboration across varying functional/business platforms and relevant stakeholders.
- Individual will manage the Big 10 Global AM agreements, across the products to drive efficient, timely and accurate pricing adjustments, along with identifying improvement areas to drive financial growth.
- Support the Commercial leadership with clear and insightful analysis applying advanced modeling and dashboard techniques through MS Power BI & other reporting technologies
- Develop and continuously refine operation specific analytics based on relevant sales data.
- Continuously enhance and implement business tools, reporting and analytics so Commercial team, can drive improved sales and opportunity planning
- Partner with various Flowserve teams & systems to integrate, streamline and maintain the inclusion of relevant sales data or data enrichment initiatives used in Commercial reporting
What you need for this job:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Information Technology, Mathematics, or related discipline.
- Proficient knowledge of SQL databases, statistical software packages, MS Azure, MS Azure Data Factory, MS Power BI, EDW structures, SSIS cubes, and Alteryx in addition to the standard Office Suite.
- Minimum 3 years preferably in a reporting, process improvement or analytical role.
- Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and leadership skills with the ability to quickly build credibility, influence and make recommendations to all levels
- Organizational skills - ability to multi-task, prioritize, and execute on assigned deliverables
- English in advanced level (80% at least, writting, conversation, reading)
