As a Global Master Planner, you will be responsible for developing and executing global planning strategies that ensure optimal alignment between demand, supply, and production capabilities. This role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a passion for driving operational excellence through data and technology.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the global master planning process, translating demand signals into feasible supply and production plans across multiple sites.
Develop and maintain planning models and parameters (lead times, lot sizes, calendars) to optimize inventory levels and production schedules.
Monitor and analyze global supply chain performance, identifying trends and implementing corrective actions to meet service and cost targets.
Balance demand and capacity constraints, performing scenario analysis and recommending actions to mitigate risks and maintain service levels.
Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Logistics teams to synchronize planning activities and resolve constraints.
Ensure data integrity and governance within planning systems, driving standardization and compliance across global operations.
Enhance planning tools and digital workflows, leveraging analytics and automation to improve efficiency and transparency.
Prepare and present planning scenarios and recommendations to senior stakeholders, supporting strategic decision-making.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on resilience, agility, and sustainability in global planning processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in global supply chain planning, master scheduling, or S&OP within a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with advanced planning systems (SAP IBP preferred) and strong skills in Power BI and Excel; SQL is a plus.
Knowledge of master data governance and performance management processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex scenarios clearly.
