The Role & What You Will Be Doing

The Finance Business Partner is expected to drive performance and add value to the commercial organisation by understanding the business, providing reliable information, closely cooperating across departments, having excellent communication skills and being an expert in Finance. 

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Finance Business Partner role will make an impact:

  • OPEX oversight and reporting to cost centre owners.

  • Monthly sales reconciliation to ensure proper cut-off of revenue.

  • BS oversight, aiding in remediation of any issues.

  • Active engagement with Supply Chain and Commercial teams, ensuring finance and supply are aligned, minimising lost sales and write-offs.

  • Monthly sales rebate analysis and improvement of rebate accrual accuracy.

  • Supporting the Commercial Organisation and Head of Finance with analysis and interpretation of business performance, analytics and analysis to help the commercial teams and Leadership Team understand the drivers of P&L performance defining implications to the business and suggested actions.

  • Aiding in the preparation and submission of revenue, CoG’s and OpEx forecasts and operating plans across the commercial organisation. Support the Leadership Team (LT) in resource allocation and opportunity identification across the portfolio.

  • To work with GIS/Genpact, CoEs and other finance teams on the delivery of all reporting requirements.

  • Proactive advocate for corporate accounting & compliance responsibilities.

  • Proactive liaison with GIS/Genpact and CoEs in the areas of statutory reporting and accounts payable.

  • Other ad hoc analysis as required to support the commercial leads and Head of Finance.

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

  • Part qualified or qualified accountant.

  • Finance experience gained in a commercial environment, preferably in a business partnering role.

  • Some experience of FP&A, Business Partnering and providing finance support to multiple client groups is an advantage.

  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and time management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Understanding of finance IT system architecture, preferably with SAP experience.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

  • Competency with spreadsheets & financial modelling (comfort with data manipulation and financial systems).

  • Ability to identify business issues/opportunities and to frame business questions.
