BSP is seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, collaborative individual to join the team as a Private Debt Operations Specialist. The individual in this position will work on a team of operations professionals and report to the BSP Vice President. BSP’s operational headquarters are based in Boston, MA and support the investment team located in New York.
Cash Management; monitor daily cash levels and provide recommendations to ensure proper liquidity.
Manage fund sublines and SPVs: reporting, borrowing base preparation, submitting borrowings/paydowns to replenish/tighten cash levels.
Answer questions regarding cash and positions bookings from custodians and admins.
Review credit agreements to pull data for BSP internal systems and fund administrators.
Track and record credit activity.
Maintain information repository of KYC documentation.
Partner with various teams across BSP, including Finance, Operations, Portfolio Analytics, and the Front Office.
Coordinate testing of reports with Business teams.
3-4 years of relevant experience.
Solid knowledge of equity, bonds, and bank loans preferable.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
Proficient in MS Excel.
Strong analytical, comprehension and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
Ability to work independently and manage own tasks with limited supervision.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
