Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our ICT team at AirAsia. This role offers hands-on experience in procurement operations, financial planning, and cross-functional coordination. If you're someone who enjoys working with data, managing processes, and collaborating with teams to get things done, this is a great opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Procurement Support:

  • Assist in entering purchase requests into the procurement system (ePR) and updating goods receipt (GRN) records upon delivery of materials or services.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness in procurement documentation.

Purchase Order (PO) Tracking:

  • Monitor and follow up on open POs to ensure timely delivery and closure.

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve delays or discrepancies and maintain up-to-date records.

Annual Operating Plan Coordination:

  • Support the ICT team in data gathering and preparation for the AirAsia Group ICT Annual Operating Plan.

  • Work closely with internal departments under tight timelines, requiring strong Excel and coordination skills.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

  • Basic knowledge of financial processes, such as budgeting and expenditure tracking.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Proactive, analytical, and able to provide independent insights based on accurate data.

  • Skilled in Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets for data tracking and analysis.

  • A punctilious individual – someone who doesn’t overlook the small details and takes pride in doing things thoroughly.

  • A strong communicator who collaborates well with cross-functional teams.

  • A lateral thinker who can solve problems creatively and support decision-making.

  • Prior experience with ePR and GRN systems is a plus, but not required.
