Job Summary

You will develop new ETL solutions with Matillion and improve existing ones, leveraging the current templates or creating new ones as needed, respecting the quality and naming conventions and best practices of DHL Express.

Responsibilities and Duties

- You will develop new ETL solutions with Matillion and improve existing ones, leveraging the current templates or creating new ones as needed, respecting the quality and naming conventions and best practices of DHL Express.

- You must know how to extend Matillion's functionality with Python.

- You will need to have a strong knowledge of Snowflake, ideally on Azure (including other Azure components such as Azure Blob Storage).

- As a DevOps Engineer, you will be sometimes required to participate to testing and RTP, which will happen in weekends and public holidays. This will be agreed in advance according to your availability. We can be flexible with the hours as long as it's agreed in advance.

- As a DevOps Engineer, you will need to help our 2nd Level Support by providing 3rd Level Support and helping to improve the monitoring capabilities and automate certain tasks where possible.

- You will be working closely with our BU partners as a consultant to transform their requirements (BRS) into a solution (SRS), document it properly, create operational manuals, share your knowledge with the more junior members. You will need excellent communication and technical writing skills.

- Sometimes the documentation will be not in an excellent state and we will need your help to improve that.

Qualifications and Skills

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
