Job Description Summary

The Mission Leader for Repair Technologies will own and drive the overall strategy and execution for how major component repairs contribute to the Onshore Wind Services Transformation. They will identify key levers to drive the optimization for servicing the fleet, establish priorities for all products and/or capabilities, and lead the cross-functional team in execution to achieve the targets. This person is responsible for leading a team of individuals that own all elements of product management, program management, and systems engineering for the repairs catalog. This leader is a strategic, high-level, visible leader in the acceleration of the Onshore Wind Services Transformation. The ideal candidate has meaningful experience in the operation, servicing, and/or design of wind turbines.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead a portfolio of complex, high impact programs that drive innovation related to servicing the fleet. Drive improved FSA and customer economics by improving service efficiency and/or reducing the cost per component replacement.

  • Develop long term vision and set multi-generation strategy for major repair capabilities.  Build and execute a roadmap to create differentiation in product design & operations working with other product managers, the commercial team, and regional execution teams that are critical technology catchers  

  • Assess internal & external needs, industry standards & regulations, and define clear product requirements

  • Lead cross-functionally, including working across GE Vernova businesses, to deliver vision, including engineering development and supply chain transitions. Drive deep, continuous engagement with regional teams to incorporate local requirements for successful product launches

  • Lead ROI analysis, assess investment options, and manage investment deck priorities

  • Lead a global team of product managers, systems engineers, and program managers with responsibility for culture, execution, and talent development

  • Own all elements of execution for the development, technical underwriting, and deployment necessary to achieve product targets

  • Serve as a technical domain expert for repair capabilities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Wind industry

  • Demonstrated experience managing/directing a budget and with business case financials

  • Strong familiarity with the new product introduction or new technology introduction processes

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $153,800.00 and $256,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
