We are searching for the best talent for (Sr.) Consumer Strategy & Insights Specialist to be in Seoul. This position is to backfill a J&J employee who is going to be absent for 18 months of maternity and child rearing leave.

Position Summary:

Sr. Consumer Strategy & Insights Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping ACUVUE®’s consumer promotions and digital engagement strategy in Korea — the world’s most dynamic contact lens market.

The Sr. Consumer Strategy & Insights Specialist will lead 360° consumer promotion planning and execution, from crafting competitive promotional concepts and schemes to forecasting business impact, managing exposure plans.

This role also expands into digital marketing and consumer journey optimization, leveraging MyACUVUE® App and ACUVUE® Web platforms to deepen engagement, drive retention, and enhance the holistic experience of contact lens users.

You will turn consumer and business insights into high impact promotions, digital journeys, and performance driven CRM activities that directly contribute to wearer growth and retention.

You will be responsible for:

1) 360° Consumer Promotion Strategy & Execution (Primary – ~80%)

  • Develop national scale, fully integrated promotional campaigns supporting brand priorities, launches, and business acceleration objectives.
  • Create competitive promotional concepts and schemes, grounded in market intelligence and category benchmarks.
  • Build end to end promotion plans, integrating CRM, digital media, and field activations to maximize awareness and conversion.
  • Conduct sales forecasting for each promotional initiative, quantify impact scenarios, and track performance vs. forecast.
  • Monitor and analyze business, consumer, and digital KPIs; deliver timely reports and insights for future improvements.
  • Oversee promotion budget planning, ensuring optimal investment efficiency and alignment with business goals.
  • Manage collaboration with cross functional teams, external agencies, and regional stakeholders to ensure flawless, compliant execution.
  • Responsible for compliant executions within J&J and external guidelines

2) Digital Consumer Journey & CRM Driven Engagement (Secondary – ~20%)

  • Analyze consumer behaviors and journey stages; design solutions that drive conversion, engagement, and repurchase.
  • Lead/support digital enhancement projects (e.g., membership feature upgrades, AI enabled personalization, automation).
  • Translate business needs into digital requirements, collaborating with technical and platform teams.
  • Track progress, outcomes, and effectiveness of digital initiatives against KPIs.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in consumer marketing, CRM, trade marketing, within FMCG or cosmetics (trade marketing experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven ability to design and execute high impact consumer promotions that deliver measurable business results.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; able to interpret data and translate insights into action.
  • Fluent in Korean (written & verbal); proficient in English for business communication.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross functional teams.
