What you’ll do
Participate in the preparation of annual local statutory reporting of the Swiss legal entities.
Ensure that statutory reporting is completed accurately and on time in compliance with the country regulatory requirements. This includes branches, legal entities and statutory consolidations from outside the US, as well as the management of the statutory audit process where applicable. Ensure that the surrounding internal control procedures are robust and balanced and are closely adhered to.
Support the coordination of the statutory audit process.
Get familiar with the Gas Power business, the Company’s processes and procedures in order to support the local statutory audit efficiently.
Proactively resolve issues within the organization, collaborate closely with other key internal (Controllership, FP&A, Tax) & external partners (PWC, Deloitte, etc.)
Develop strong relationship with the external auditors and serves as the interface between other GE Vernova teams and the auditors
Support the continuous improvement of the Statutory Compliance process to be more efficient and standardized. Acquiring a Lean Mindset and apply it throughout the continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting
Significant experience in finance, accounting or taxation working on multi-national clients' statutory or tax-related matters or other businesses, including private law practice, accounting firm practice, industry practice, national tax practice or a combination thereof.
Fluent English knowledge is a must in this role
Strong oral and written communication skills – able to communicate complex tax issues, opportunities, and risks to non-tax experts in a simple way
Adaptable/flexible: open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or ability to work in ambiguous situations
What will make you stand out
Post-graduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, or with significant academic focus on taxation from accredited university or college
Experience leading large complex teams of experienced professionals
Ability to evaluate complex proposals and anticipate, identify, and resolve tax-related risks and opportunities
Ability to partner effectively with business management, legal and finance personnel.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
