Job Summary
This role is responsible for leading a team of individual contributors, developing account strategies, and maintaining strong client relationships. The role monitors account performance and engages with stakeholders to drive improvements and optimize processes. The role handles contract negotiations, mitigates risks, and oversees talent development within the team to ensure exceptional client service and business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with the account management team to develop account plans and strategies for key clients to meet their specific needs and objectives, aligning them with the organization's goals.
  • Leads a team of individual contributors, establishing and monitoring performance goals and ensuring the timely delivery of client solutions.
  • Builds and maintains strong client relationships, serving as the main point of contact for key accounts and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Monitors the performance of client accounts, tracking key metrics and KPIs, and taking corrective actions as needed to achieve targets.
  • Engages with both internal and external stakeholders to identify improvement areas and utilizes data-driven insights to develop improvement plans.
  • Streamlines and optimizes operational processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness while proactively seeking upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Addresses and resolves any customer issues or concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Leads contract negotiations and renewals, ensuring that terms and conditions are favorable for both the organization and the client.
  • Handles budget and resource allocation while identifying and mitigating risks associated with client accounts, in compliance with contracts and agreements.
  • Performs talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching, and career development.


Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in account management, business development, supply chain, customer service, or a related field.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
