Job Description:

Position Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing and leading complex IT projects; ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. The role requires strong project management expertise, leadership skills, and deep understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and technologies. This position will collaborate with cross functional teams, manage project resources, and serve as one of the primary points of contact for stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with organization goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with project sponsors and stakeholders to establish scope, cost, schedule, quality, deliverables to deliver a new or modified business capability through the execution of an IT project
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
  • Participate as a member of the Program Management Office (PMO) and provide accurate and timely report outs to senior leadership and key stakeholders on the status of and risks associated with the projects being delivered
  • Establish and maintain detailed project schedules that identify the resource and budgetary needs required to complete the projects, and participate in the IT Portfolio Management process to help identify where gaps or bottlenecks may exist that could impact project delivery
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously; ensuring timeliness of assigned tasks within the team to successfully meet deadlines
  • Look for opportunities to improve the effectiveness of project delivery. Assess and address project variances and implement changes to keep the project within scope and on/under budget
  • Lead the benefits realization phase of the project as implemented by the project sponsor
  • Provide training and mentoring to other Project Managers in the organization

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree or PMP Certification preferred
  • 7-10 years’ relevant experience required
  • Experience using MS Project highly preferred
