This position oversees the management of assorted Retail and Corporate projects, acting as on-site field support. This position works with the Retail Experience and Retail Field Leadership teams on coordinating the projects aligned to the Retail division including acquisitions, system conversions, new stores, remodels, relocations, and closing stores
Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):
- Provides field support for Retail projects including, but not limited to, acquisitions, system conversions, new stores, remodels, relocations, and closing stores, etc.
- Maintains relationships with several departments to properly complete assigned projects
- Acts as the field lead for coordinating system and process training and determining resources needs for Retail projects
- Creates project plans, assembles functional areas related to the individual projects, defines and documents, and leads through completion of projects in the field
- Facilitates communication and reporting between all support and business functions of Retail with respect to information and plans for projects
- Improves processes and policies in support of organizational goals
- Assists in the development of strategic plans for operational activity
- Supports the business activities of the Retail Division by providing support and answers for the field teams and corporate
- Works as the liaison for stores to get action on priority needs
SCOPE & IMPACT:
This position supports and manages projects in excess of $20 Million per year. This role will interact with all Store and Retail field management, Retail Support Departments, IFG Business Owners, IT, Accounting, Legal, Tax, Store Design and Construction, and 3rd party vendors while overseeing each project.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or relate field with 6-8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
- 1 – 3 years of leadership/supervisory experience
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Be able to thrive in a challenging and fast paced atmosphere where prioritizing and multi-tasking are the norm
- Exceptional attention to detail and first-class organizational skills
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Retail system and process knowledge
- Travel Required: 90%
