Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will have the opportunity to lead a team of HSE experts. Each day, you will make sure the team keeps developing capabilities and skills, supporting the business in the implementation of policies, practices and programs. You will also showcase your expertise by driving behavioral change and HSE learning within the organization.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite

This role is part of the NEMA motor division for Motion, located in Guadalajara, Jalisco (Mexico).

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Supporting line managers and supervisors in the organization in understanding obligations, liabilities and requirements

• Ensuring appropriate tools and measures are in place and used effectively, at the same time reporting the HSE incidents.

• Reporting on HSE performance and progress with respect to the Group objectives

• Drive behavioral change and ensuring HSE capabilities are optimized and aligned to standards and best practices

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree

• Advanced English communication skills, able to maintain business conversations

• SAP and Microsoft Office management

• You enjoy working in a manufacturing facility

• +8 years of experience in health, safety and environmental activities, managing teams.

• Possess an enhanced knowledge of / You are qualified in / Highly adept in Mexican legislation and legal requirements for health, safety and environment.

• You are passionate about continuous improvement and developing teams.

• Have a demonstrated experience working with complex management systems.

• You are at ease communicating in Spanish and English
