Job Summary:

As a Senior Product Manager - Eligibility and Administration, you will lead the strategy and execution for SmithRx’s Eligibility System and Admin tools. Your mission will be to ensure a seamless enrollment process for members, accurate eligibility management, and efficient integration with third-party administrators (TPAs). By owning key initiatives, you will enable our teams to deliver accurate and reliable eligibility setups while ensuring a smooth experience for members throughout their journey.

In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, operations, and customer success teams to manage the tools and workflows that support member enrollment and eligibility. You will also leverage analytics to measure success, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive innovation in our eligibility management processes.

What you will do:

  • Onboarding & Enrollment:
    • Manage tools and processes for adding members, creating accounts, and updating eligibility statuses.
    • Optimize member enrollment workflows to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Eligibility Management:
    • Oversee the accurate determination and management of member eligibility, including syncing files for terminated members and maintaining consistency across systems.
  • Membership Updates:
    • Lead efforts to manage changes to membership details, including updates to group and account status, ensuring members have uninterrupted access to benefits.
  • TPA Integration:
    • Manage integrations with third-party administrators (TPAs), ensuring accurate data exchange and seamless member eligibility verification.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to enhance data consistency and integrity in external partnerships.
  • Insights and Continuous Improvement:
    • Develop and track key performance metrics to measure the success of eligibility and admin processes.
    • Provide actionable insights to improve tools and workflows, ensuring alignment with company OKRs.
    • Serve as the subject matter expert on eligibility-related analytics to support data-informed decision-making.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on priorities and ensure successful delivery of projects.
    • Clearly communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders across the organization.

What you will bring to SmithRx:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably with a focus on systems and tools in healthcare, eligibility, or administration domains.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like SQL, Python, or other data analysis platforms.
  • Experience managing complex systems integrations, particularly with third-party administrators (TPAs).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Knowledge of healthcare or pharmacy benefit management (PBM) systems is a plus.
