The Software Asset Management Analyst II is a member of the Software Asset Management team and has three primary areas of responsibility for WarnerMedia: asset Identification and Tracking, inventory Management and Software Lifecycle Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Asset Receipt and Tracking:

  • Responsible for order reconciliation of technology assets, detailed asset record creation, asset distribution to worldwide support teams, and lifecycle asset tracking for all of WarnerMedia's technology asset acquisitions (see terms).
  • Accountable for accurately reconciling technology orders where knowledge of IT & broadcast systems is required to ensure WarnerMedia’s technology purchases are fulfilled as specified.
  • Ensure all assets are appropriately and accurately recorded and works operations to ensure the accuracy of the data in WarnerMedia’s asset management systems and procurement system.
  • Responsible for the creation and modification of supplemental asset records due to data omissions in the order request or order fulfilment process in accordance with ISO and audit compliance policies.
  • Responsible for the receiving and tracking of software licenses through procurement and software discovery tools.

Software Lifecycle Management:

  • Work with asset owners to validate asset data discrepancies.
  • Organize and maintain multiple software deployment trackers.
  • Responsible for lifecycle management through procurement and software discovery tools.
  • Create and track work requests to distribute software licenses
  • Assist with assigning licenses or subscriptions as required (Infrastructure, Broadcast, & End user).
  • Manage software deployments using 3rd party consoles/portals (Microsoft O365, VMware, Adobe, Cisco SmartNet).
  • Coordinate with Procurement and Finance for proper software cost allocation
  • Compare entitlements to deployments and provides associated analysis including needs for purchases.

Inventory Management:

  • Accountable for managing the inventory for unconsumed software licenses, SaaS subscriptions, and user-based licenses.
  • Maintain multiple inventory tracking files.
  • Conduct inventory audits on a regular basis.


MUST HAVE:

  • 3+ years of Technology Asset Management experience.
  • 3+ years of IT software experience.
  • 3+ years of direct interaction with customers, vendors, manufacturers, procurement services, and logistics providers.
  • 1+ years of experience with SAP Ariba and ServiceNow software systems (or similar systems).
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications Excel, Teams and Outlook.


NICE TO HAVE:

  • Knowledge of IT asset disposition procedures and legislation.
  • Knowledge of IT hardware and software inventory tracking and audit procedures.
  • Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree (Finance, Business, Engineering or IT-related major preferred)
