Job Description:

UPS is seeking a Customer Solutions Consultant to support the growth of our solutions portfolio for new and established customers. In this role, you will work closely with Sales teams and customers to position and implement pre-defined and configurable solutions, helping businesses enhance their logistics operations alongside their core shipping services.

You will act as a key link between customers, sales, and internal teams, ensuring solutions are clearly understood, appropriately applied, and effectively delivered.

The position will cover the Surrey area, with exposure to Kent and, at times, Essex and the Staines-upon-Thames area as well.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Positioning & Support

  • Support Sales teams in driving revenue growth by promoting UPS Customer Solutions alongside core UPS shipping services

  • Clearly position the value of UPS’s pre-designed and configurable solutions to customers

  • Assist in aligning customer needs with appropriate solutions from the existing portfolio

Customer Engagement

  • Participate in customer meetings (virtual and in-person) to present solution capabilities, respond to queries, and communicate quantified value propositions that demonstrate return on investment

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with key customer stakeholders

  • Support discussions with stakeholders at various levels, including senior decision-makers, reinforcing the measurable benefits of proposed solutions

Implementation & Coordination

  • Work with internal teams, including IT and subject matter experts, to support solution delivery and implementation

  • Help manage solution adjustments and resolve any issues during rollout

  • Ensure a consistent and structured approach to onboarding customers onto solutions

Internal Collaboration

  • Act as a point of contact for Sales teams seeking guidance on solutions

  • Deliver training and updates on UPS offerings, tools, and capabilities

  • Share insights and feedback to support continuous improvement

Process & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and account and opportunity activity within CRM systems

  • Provide updates to the wider account team to ensure alignment

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Skills

  • Experience in sales, account support, or logistics (logistics preferred), with a track record of achieving targets

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain solutions in a clear, structured way

  • Good analytical thinking and a practical approach to problem-solving

  • Confidence working with internal teams and customer stakeholders

  • Organised, with the ability to manage multiple activities effectively

Requirements

  • Full, clean UK driving licence (minimum 2 years)

  • Willingness to travel within your assigned area

  • Strong English language skills (additional languages beneficial)

  • Right to work in the UK


Preferred

  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field

  • Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce) and standard business tools (e.g., Microsoft Office)
