Job Description Summary

Finance Manager role in the Onshore Wind Services operations finance organization leading finance for ~$300M annual FSA cost related to MCU and Blades in North America (NAM), with a team of approximately 1 – 2 members.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities
The key responsibility for this role is to drive full FSA ownership and accountability between the MCU and Blades functional execution scopes, therefore driving the right prioritization and accountability for the total business and customer outcomes.

Areas of responsibilities and relevant financials are listed below:

  • Major Component Upgrades: $(230)M annual cost
  • Blades (Repairs, Bushings, Inspections): $(70)M annual cost
  • Crane & Labor Sourcing: Strategic sourcing opportunities on spend, vendor recoveries

This role acts as a business finance partner to key operating leaders within the Major Correctives organization in NAM to drive the financial and operational turnaround for the FSA business through more efficient field operations and capital deployment. Additionally, this position is responsible for the financial reporting and analysis of Major Correctives business & financial performance in NAM.

The role includes direct team leadership oversight over 1 to 2 team members – key responsibilities include providing effective coaching and feedback to drive higher accountability and operational connectedness, ultimately delivering business outcomes. This position is also expected to establish regional & global standards for financial processes to drive improved operational visibility to evaluate trade-offs (e.g., job cost efficiency, liquidated damages, availability %, crane & labor sourcing options), therefore enabling efficient decision-making.

This role is a key player of the NAM Wind Services finance leadership team, tasked with ensuring cost efficiency for the organization and operational excellence for our customers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance
  • Graduates of GEV Finance leadership programs (similar to the FMP & OFLP programs) are preferred

Desired Qualifications:

  • Leadership experience having led teams of at least 5 members in the past
  • Proven experience of driving accountability towards business results
  • Ability to communicate across different levels of the organization including senior leadership and stakeholders

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $124,900.00 and $208,100.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
