MIS Executive:

Requirements

  • Work experience as an Accountant
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software like Fresh Books and Quick Books
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookup and pivot tables
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • Accounting, Finance or relevant degree

Accounting Responsibilities Include
 

  • Tracking payments to internal and external stakeholders
  • Preparing budget forecasts
  • Processing tax payments and returns
  • MIS Report generation & Database Management.
  • Analysis of monthly / weekly spends and revenue data, identifying the issues and the errors and work with the team to solve for them
  • Maintain reports & spreadsheets for historical data, manage email requests
  • Work closely with Operations for daily, weekly & monthly reports
  • Provide insights on existing data to internal/external stakeholders
  • Ability to validate and identify issues on vendor related pay-outs
  • Extracting of data into spreadsheet and preparing monthly consolidation of accounts using analytical and excellent spreadsheet skills
  • Preparation of monthly Financial MIS (Daily / Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly / Annual)
  • Creation of multiple Excel based Dashboards for Reporting and analysis of Finances/Revenue/Payments
  • Analytical monthly variance reports comparing Budgets vs Actuals and apply analytical reasoning skills to identify reasons for variances
  • Provide insights on existing data to internal/external stakeholders
  • Superior analytical skills practiced at drilling down to transaction/ workflow details

    Job Description:

    •  Delivers master data maintenance processes, according to established Standard Operating Procedures and agreed SLAs
    •  Designs, tests and delivers reports using right tools and by applying best practices to meet the business needs
    •  Maintains accurate documentation to ensure compliance with established processes, policies and controls
    •  Assists in the ongoing training of end-users on global template
    •  Liaises with Global Process and Technology teams to ensure process alignment and technical specifications are validated and approved
    •  Supports automation initiatives and delivers process related continuous
    •  Manage all accounting transactions
    •  Prepare budget forecasts
    •  Publish financial statements in time
    •  Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
    •  Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
    •  Ensure timely bank payments
    •  Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
    •  Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
    •  Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
    •  Audit financial transactions and documents
    •  Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
