Linklaters is looking for an outstanding Italian law student in their final years of university (laureando/a) to join its Milan-based team for a three-month internship in the Litigation, Arbitration and Investigations practice of the Milan office from October 2024.

The Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations department in Milan deals with large-scale commercial, corporate and financial litigation and arbitration matters, as well as with international sanctions, compliance and ABC issues, working closely with offices outside national borders, also on cross-jurisdictional disputes.

Itay-based companies and multinational organisations rely on our LAI team for advice, assistance and defence in all aspects of their disputes in Italy and abroad, including in relation to international arbitrations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • legal research and analysis
  • assisting in the preparation of memos and document review
  • supporting in drafting court documents and other legal documentation

Key requirements:

  • Law degree (currently enrolled in the fifth year);
  • Excellent academic credentials from an Italian University (please include the list of exams together with a motivation letter);
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Proficiency level in English;
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
