Position Summary...

Oversees the implementation of multiple business initiatives by assessing customer and operational requirements, formulating and communicating business strategies and priorities, addressing performance barriers, allocating appropriate resources, defining performance metrics, monitoring progress, making adjustments as necessary, developing contingency measures, and demonstrating adaptability while fostering continuous learning.

Provides leadership and professional development for associates by engaging in recruitment and training, mentoring team members, delegating responsibilities, cultivating a collaborative work environment, establishing and reviewing performance objectives, providing constructive feedback and recognition, coaching for growth and improvement, and encouraging a sense of belonging within the organization.

Upholds and advances company policies, procedures, mission, values, and ethical standards by educating and guiding others in their application, ensuring compliance, and promoting the use of the Open Door Policy.

Ensures organizational objectives are achieved by regularly evaluating the effectiveness of current plans and programs, consulting with relevant stakeholders, seeking and incorporating suggestions for enhanced efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and actively participating in community outreach initiatives.

What you'll do...

What You’ll Do

  • Design and maintain enterprise-grade data models that support analytical, operational, and machine learning use cases across multiple domains.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, well-structured conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
  • Establish and enforce data modeling standards and best practices, ensuring consistency, reusability, and alignment with enterprise data architecture.
  • Drive data governance and metadata management efforts, ensuring models are well-documented, discoverable, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor data engineers and analysts on data modeling principles, fostering a culture of data literacy and model-driven development.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or related roles, with a strong foundation in relational, dimensional, and NoSQL modeling techniques.
  • Expertise in industry-standard modeling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, ERwin, dbt, PowerDesigner) and proficiency in SQL and data warehousing platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Deep understanding of data governance, master data management (MDM), and metadata frameworks, with experience aligning models to business glossaries and taxonomies.
  • Proven ability to work across business and technical teams, translating complex requirements into elegant, scalable data structures.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with a track record of influencing data strategy and driving alignment across enterprise stakeholders.
