Work pattern: 5/2 daily commuter

Reports to: Technology Development Supervisor

About the Role

KBR is seeking motivated Iraqi national graduates to join the IFMS project at Majnoon Oil Field as Technology Development Associates. This is an entry-level position that provides a structured development pathway into the disciplines of Information Management (IM), Information Technology (IT), Digital Solutions, Cyber Security, Applications, Data Management, Operational Technology, and SAP.

The role is designed for early-career graduates who demonstrate strong potential, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to building a long-term career in the oil and gas sector. You will follow a customized development plan combining formal training, on-the-job experience, mentoring, and practical project assignments, with the aim of progressing into specialist or technical roles upon successful completion of the program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in a structured graduate development and rotational training program across relevant technology disciplines
  • Support daily activities within assigned teams including IM, IT, Cyber Security, Digital Solutions, SAP, Data Management, and Operational Technology
  • Assist experienced professionals with project, operational, and end-user support activities
  • Complete assigned technical, business, and professional development courses
  • Contribute to data collection, analysis, reporting, and documentation tasks
  • Participate in workshops, mentoring sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities
  • Support technology adoption, user engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop an understanding of oil and gas business processes and the technologies that support them
  • Demonstrate commitment to HSE standards, company policies, and professional conduct at all times

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution — recent graduates encouraged to apply
  • Relevant disciplines include: Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, Business Information Systems, Electronics, Telecommunications, Cyber Security, or Business English / Communications

Language

  • English: Good written and verbal communication required
  • Arabic: Native

Technical Skills

  • Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, computer hardware/software, and digital tools
  • General awareness of IT, data, or cyber security concepts is advantageous — training will be provided

Advantageous Certifications (not mandatory)

  • Microsoft Fundamentals, ITIL Foundation, Cisco Networking Fundamentals, Cyber Security Fundamentals, Cloud Fundamentals (Azure / AWS), Data Analytics Fundamentals, or any recognized technology certification

Career Development

Upon successful completion of the program, associates may progress into specialist roles such as IT Support Specialist, Information Management Specialist, SAP Support Analyst, Cyber Security Analyst, Digital Solutions Coordinator, Data Analyst, Infrastructure Support Engineer, or Applications Support Analyst — aligned to individual aptitude and business requirements.
