Responsibilities:
Data strategy – Support the development and continuously improvement of GE Vernova’s sustainability data strategy and translate strategic sustainability goals into actionable data quality plans and execution steps. This includes converting functional and strategic data requirements into clear deliverables for DT/AI teams and ensuring implementation aligns with overall data governance standards.
Audit & Sustainability Metric Monitoring – Support the rollout and execution of the Management Review Checklists (MRCs). Assist in the external audit process of GE Vernova’s ESG data for the Sustainability Report and regulatory filings. Execute and document periodic monitoring test work for a sample of critical sustainability KPIs. Work with Segment, Site and Functional leaders to resolve and document all identified issues arising from monitoring test work. Expand the monitoring program beyond GHG Emissions to other areas, potentially including Waste, Water and Circularity metrics.
AI coordination & support - Support the development and implementation of AI-enhanced reporting capabilities, acting as a liaison between sustainability teams and AI/data science stakeholders. Work closely with data technology teams to improve and automate the Sustainability data. This includes helping to design and deploy automation tools, analytics, and AI-driven solutions that improve data quality.
Data Management and Reporting - Coordinate with Business Unit Sustainability Leaders to ensure data quality for GHG reporting and other ESG metrics, facilitating business reviews and external reporting. Propose and implement initiatives to enhance data gathering, recordkeeping, and reporting. Review, analyze, and assess all data that is rolled-up at the GE Vernova level including Greenhouse (GHG) gas emissions, energy use, water, waste and other disclosed metrics for quarterly business reviews, Board of Directors meetings, Annual sustainability/external reporting, and other business needs. Support the sustainability data auditing process for both voluntary and mandatory reporting. Support the reporting team in compiling and aligning business, program owner, leadership reviews, and outside consultant inputs.
Project Management and Continuous Improvement - Conduct gap assessments and manage gap closures related to sustainability data. Drive continuous improvement in data accuracy and governance through collaboration with business partners. Create project plans to ensure businesses are reporting on a regular basis on key sustainability metrics for progress assessment.
Policy and Standard Work Development: Develop and support the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures for sustainability data reporting, adhering to industry standards such as CSRD. Ensure Standard Operating Procedures for align and meet with international standards including but not limited to GHG protocol, ESRS, others.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement - Align with business partners to support data accuracy and governance to drive continuous improvements. Support in the company deployment of key data technology tools and new system updates. Participate in GE Vernova Sustainability core team strategic planning meetings and execution of sustainability goals, providing key data analysis, trends, and insights to guide data-driven decision making.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field plus a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience.
Master’s degree in relevant field plus a minimum of one year of relevant professional experience.
Desired:
Familiarity GHG Protocol and other emerging frameworks (SEC, EU Taxonomy, CSRD).
Direct experience in assessing completeness of sustainability data for voluntary and mandatory reporting.
Able to work independently, while building effective relationships with business and functional partners.
Strong project management, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Focused on and passionate about process improvement.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint), as well as data and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, and R
Experience working with AI and machine learning concepts in data quality or reporting contexts and last mile reporting tools.
Self-starter and strong work ethic

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $85,500.00 and $142,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
