Team/Role Overview

Individuals in Governance Reporting & Analysis are responsible for developing standard risk and controls reporting to ensure sound, reliable, consistent information exists across the organization to enable better management and decision-making in line with the expectations of senior management, Board, and the Regulators. Provide data analysis, governance, end to end management and oversight for Governance Committees in adherence to Citi’s Policies, Standards and Procedures enabling proactive management of the risk and control environment.

This role is working within Markets. This role has one direct report.

What you’ll do

• Assesses risk in business decisions, safeguarding the firm's reputation and assets by ensuring compliance, ethical judgment, transparent issue management, and team accountability.
• Drives project optimization and efficiencies.
• Assists management in guiding business-aligned decisions.
• Manages standardized risk/control reporting for enhanced decision-making and compliance with senior management, Board, and Regulator expectations.
• Provides data analysis, governance, management, and oversight for Governance Committees in line with Citi's policies.
• Ensures proactive risk/control management through comprehensive reporting and analysis.
• Identifies and communicates vulnerabilities for risk mitigation.
• Reviews and updates risk/control reporting standards for effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
• Provides regular risk/control status updates to senior management and the Board.
• Manages Citi's governance committee operations (meetings, agendas, action items).
• Collaborates with committee chairs for effective decision-making and alignment with organizational goals.
• Ensures compliance with governance standards and regulatory requirements for committee operations.
• Develops and implements a comprehensive controls training program for employees, ensuring compliance with regulations, internal procedures, and best practices.

What we’ll need from you

• Proven experience in financial services control functions (risk, compliance, audit).
• Knowledge of the Markets business
• Expertise in identifying, measuring, and managing risks and controls.
• Led control projects; strategic vision with critical detail focus.
• Developed and implemented strategy and process improvements.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Citi’s business, functions, and risk profiles.
• Developed new ideas and improved processes for proactive risk mitigation.
• Ability to challenge and recommend risk/control remediation.
• Expert in control development and execution.
• Implemented sustainable solutions and process improvements.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical skills for complex risk/control evaluation.
• Delivered compelling presentations and influenced executive audiences
