The Athletics Marketing Intern helps with the day to day operations of the athletics department and game day operations in compliance within NCAA, RMAC and Colorado School of Mines policies, guidelines, and procedures.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative

  • Must be fully knowledgeable and adhere to all rules and regulations of the NCAA, RMAC (as applicable) and Colorado School of Mines.
  • Administrative duties such as filing and record keeping.
  • Game day marketing team.
  • Attend meetings as necessary.

Other

  • Demonstrate a cooperative attitude towards all sports in the intercollegiate program.
  • Must be willing to work odd hours including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Failure to comply with all NCAA, RMAC and Colorado School of Mines regulations and policies will be cause for termination.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment and manage stressful situations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with many internal and external entities in a variety of ways. Must be able to communicate with coaches, student-athletes, athletics administration and prospective student-athletes and their families.

JOB DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Physical Requirements:                                        

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Potential Environmental Conditions/Hazards:

  • Must perform job duties in inclement weather.

salary

  • $15- $20 per hour.
