Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) Nursing Supervisor who is responsible for the delivery of resident care by licensed and non-licensed staff in our Continuing Care Neighborhoods, which include skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, and memory care.

This role will alternate between responsibilities of a Supervisor and a Floor Nurse (RN).

Compensation: commensurate based with experience between $42.50 - $47.00 hourly, in addition to shift differentials of $2.00 hourly for night shift on weekdays and $5.00 hourly for weekends.

Schedule: 36 hours/week (Full-Time status). Please see the following details:

• Will perform responsibilities as a Supervisor every-other weekend from 7:00pm – 7:30am

• Will perform responsibilities as a Floor Nurse (RN) three shifts per week from 11:00pm – 7:30am

How you will make an impact as a Supervisor

• Perform walking rounds through all Continuing Care neighborhoods (skilled nursing, long term care, assisted living, and memory care) to ensure nursing staff are providing the highest level of resident care possible
• Review, adjust and monitor nursing staffing in all neighborhoods to ensure appropriate staff is available to provide resident care and meet established PPD. 
• Effectively implement a person-centered approach to care, focusing on the resident’s strengths while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging. 
• Assist in resolving resident/family concerns and grievances. 
• Lead investigations for injuries of unknown origin, medication errors, and/or abuse allegations as needed or requested. Complete supervisory reports as required by the Director of Nursing. 
• Review documentation in medical records to ensure compliance with regulations, nursing standards of practice, and Erickson policy.

How you will make an impact as a Floor Nurse (RN)

• Adhere to guidelines in the State Nurse Practice Act and established best practices
• Administer medications and perform treatments per orders
• Monitor conditions and adjust care to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Maintain infection control protocols
• Document thoroughly in the EMR
• Participate in inter-disciplinary team meetings to develop holistic plans of care
• Thoroughly explain conditions, care plans, and medications to residents and family members

What you will need 

• Minimum of 1 year floor nurse experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living or hospital is required.
• Prior supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
• Licensed in the state as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR certification required.
