Analyst, Accounts Payable

Collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world

As Analyst, Accounts Payable you will play a key role managing and processing the company's accounts payable transactions in the division of US and Canada Operation. In this role you will be able to ensure that all invoices are accurately recorded and paid in a timely manner. The individual should demonstrate an autonomous approach and independence in terms of comprehensive process management, responsibility for assigned tasks and problem solving.

• Financial Accuracy and Efficiency: By ensuring that all invoices are accurately recorded and paid on time, you contribute to the financial health and operational efficiency of the company.
• Compliance and Risk Management: By ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations, you help mitigate risks associated with financial transactions.
• Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing process improvements can lead to increased efficiency and cost savings for the company.
• Support and Collaboration: By supporting other departments and demonstrating effective problem-solving skills, you contribute to a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications: 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
• Advanced language as required (English and/or Portuguese)
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• SAP, Oracle, S2K or any other ERP Experience

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: 

• Knowledge of Accounting Principles: Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports.
• Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
