$69/hr or $143,520 total comp

Seeking to hire a Contractor based out of Brazil or Argentina for Lead-Level Data Reporting Engineering Services.

Scope of Services:

  • As a Contractor you will translate product data requests into insightful customer reporting metrics
  • You will communicate with app developers and data stakeholders regarding data system changes and data inquiries
  • You will lead initiative, define problems, and provide scoping to break down work for the team
  • You will communicate with frontend engineers to create data visualization
  • You will lead and work alongside customer-facing business intelligence, reporting, and data visualization teams
  • You will conduct root-cause analyses relating to queries about data irregularities  and product metric definition requests 

Skills & Experience:

  • Mastered proficiency in SQL, Python, and relational datastores
    • Experience columnar relational databases is a plus
  • Advanced experience in optimizing SQL query performance
  • Experience leading and working on customer-facing business intelligence, reporting and data visualization teams
    • Experience with maintaining custom, in house tooling is a plus
  • Strong ability to conduct root-cause analyses relating to queries about data irregularities and product metric definitions requests 
  • Experience with data testing strategies to ensure transformations and metrics are aligned with expected business logic
  • Experience with DBT orchestration and best practices
  • Experience with python web frameworks (Fast API, Flask)
  • Experience with enabling application monitoring and health checks for systems within the team’s domain
  • Experience with data pipelines and DAG tooling (Dagster, Airflow, etc) is a plus
  • Experience with event-based pipelines and CDC tooling is a plus
