Job Summary
Synechron seeks a Risk Developer to bridge technology delivery with risk governance and regulatory compliance. This role focuses on designing and implementing risk-aware software solutions, guiding cross-functional teams, and delivering data-driven insights to support governance, risk, and compliance objectives. The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth across modern platforms with the ability to influence stakeholders, drive innovation, and ensure alignment with organizational risk standards.

Software Requirements

Required Skills (Essential)

  • Strong understanding of multiple technology platforms including mobile, cloud, IoT, and blockchain concepts

  • Proficient in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies

  • Experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational strategy and risk standards

Day-to-Day Activities

  • Lead and participate in planning, design reviews, and risk assessments for technology initiatives

  • Develop, review, and maintain technical specifications, architectures, and governance controls

  • Mentor junior team members and foster knowledge sharing

  • Design and monitor risk-aware systems, ensuring security, reliability, and compliance

  • Track progress, manage dependencies, and escalate risks as needed

  • Stay current with industry trends and advise on adopting beneficial technologies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • Certifications in architecture, cloud, security, or data analytics are a plus
