Role Summary:

The Senior Manager – Strategy & Operations will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of the company. This individual will work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies that drive growth, efficiency, and overall company performance. The role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage complex projects. This role will also be shaped into succession plan for the India strategy lead role in 3-4 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with Leadership team to support the development and execution of the company's strategic plan, including long-term goals, annual objectives, and key initiatives.
  • Market Analysis: Lead the insights generation process through periodical market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats. Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of strategic initiatives. Provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including finance, marketing, operations, and product development, to ensure alignment and successful execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage strategic projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of objectives.
  • Digital Roadmap: Develop long term digital roadmap for BMS India – covering best practices in omnichannel customer engagement, market shaping and campaign management. Take ownership for implementation of the digital strategy, close collaboration with marketing, compliance, communication, and other departments.
  • Innovation: Conceptualize, co-create and execute new/innovative business models and solutions in India (e.g. Partnerships, Digital)

Qualification and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree preferred in any technical or scientific or business/finance management area (Preferred: Engineering/Medical/Finance/Business); Postgraduate in Management from a reputed business school.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategy, management consulting, with a focus on healthcare/ life science industry
  • Experience of leading projects as a senior consultant/ manager in management consulting companies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
