Summary: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who is passionate about quality and automation. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills, experience in building automation frameworks, and a solid understanding of software testing principles. As an SDET, he/she will work closely with developers, QA analysts, and DevOps engineers to ensure that high-quality software is delivered continuously and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing with Selenium/Cypress/TestNG, etc. Test APIs using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or Karate. Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and quality. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Validate database transactions and backend logic. Proactively find bugs and report them clearly with steps to reproduce. Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues. Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test data based on requirements and design. Align test strategy with business goals and risk analysis. Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams. Participate in agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Skills Programming (Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, etc.) Test automation tools CI/CD tools and version control (Git) Good understanding of SDLC and STLC Problem-solving and debugging Knowledge of Agile ceremonies. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 +years of experience in Selenium. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
