Independently provides full design, configuration and support for common data or voice networking implementations (HW and SW), including contact center and network security technology. Assists senior technicians in design, configuration and support of backbone networks, security DMZs, Storage Area Networks (SAN), Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) solutions, contact center and Intelligent Choice Response setup, and other highly complex and critical solutions with regional and potentially global impact. Ensures appropriate failover solutions are implemented and tested to meet business continuity needs. Performs complex video networking for Board meetings and conferences. Provides global support to resolve network outages and help diagnose application problems. May also provide technical guidance to Associate Network Engineers.
Designs, configures, and implements network solutions to support changes to teams, offices and applications, and to incorporate new features to optimize services. Solution components may include departmental switches, enterprise switches, routers, firewalls, VPN gateways, IP telephony, IVR, Automated CAll Distribution (ACD), and other network technologies. (55%)
Provides full operational support for regional network services the provide customer access to revenue-generating applications and colleague access to systems used to run the comapny and support customers, with limited assistance from more senior engineers in mission critical and/or highly complex situations. (30%)
Creates and maintains technical documentation, asset inventories and configuration information. (10%)
Analyzes vendor invoices for accuracy, maintains inventory and orders equipment (5%)
3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience.
Bachelor's Degree with Network Engineering or Related Field of Study preferred.
Other Education / Certifications: - Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise, CCNP Data Center, Microsoft Azure Associate, Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE) Specialist, F5 (or other load balancer) Certified Administrator, Solar Winds Certified Professional
