Summary: As an Application Designer, you will be responsible for assisting in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements using IBM InfoSphere DataStage. Your typical day will involve working with cross-functional teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design and develop ETL solutions using IBM InfoSphere DataStage to meet business requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. - Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in IBM InfoSphere DataStage. - Good To Have Skills: Experience in other ETL tools such as Informatica or Talend. - Experience in designing and developing ETL solutions. - Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and principles. - Experience in SQL and database technologies such as Oracle or SQL Server. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in IBM InfoSphere DataStage. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
