Greater Asia Commercial Marketing Lead
Role Summary
The Greater Asia Commercial Marketing Lead is responsible for defining and executing the commercial (B2B) marketing strategy across Greater Asia, driving demand, pipeline growth, and revenue impact across enterprise, mid-market, and SMB segments.
This role acts as the regional orchestrator between Worldwide strategy and country execution—ensuring commercial marketing is customer-focused, insight-driven, and tightly integrated with Sales and Channel to accelerate growth. The position plays a critical role in embedding a commercial-first, One HP approach across the region.
Key Responsibilities
1. Commercial Marketing Strategy & Growth
- Define and lead the integrated commercial marketing strategy across Greater Asia aligned to business priorities and growth segments
- Identify priority audiences (Enterprise, Mid-market, SMB) and translate them into targeted marketing plays
- Drive a shift toward audience-first planning and measurable commercial outcomes
2. Demand Generation & Pipeline Acceleration
- Own end-to-end commercial demand generation strategy, including digital, ABM, events, and partner-led programs
- Ensure strong pipeline contribution (MQL → SQL → revenue), in close alignment with Sales
- Drive consistency in lead management, conversion, and follow-up discipline across markets
3. Sales & Marketing Integration
- Partner closely with Sales leadership to align on pipeline priorities, coverage gaps, and growth opportunities
- Establish joint marketing–sales operating rhythm (pipeline reviews, performance tracking, action planning)
- Ensure marketing directly supports revenue attainment and opportunity creation
4. Channel & Partner Marketing
- Define and scale partner and channel marketing strategy across distributors, resellers, and alliances
- Optimize MDF and co-marketing investments to maximize impact and alignment with regional priorities
- Strengthen partner enablement through consistent messaging, assets, and campaigns
5. Global–Regional–Market Alignment
- Translate Worldwide commercial strategies into clear, actionable regional direction
- Provide guidance and frameworks for markets to localize effectively without duplication
- Act as the “bridge” between WW and markets to ensure alignment and speed of execution
6. Performance Management & ROI Optimization
- Build and enforce a closed-loop measurement framework across campaigns and markets
- Track pipeline, revenue contribution, ROI, and customer engagement metrics
- Use data and insights to continuously optimize marketing effectiveness
7. Customer Journey & Experience Integration
- Own the commercial customer journey across all touchpoints (digital, partner, events, inside sales)
- Ensure seamless, consistent experience across channels to improve conversion and retention
- Drive integration of marketing, sales, and CX initiatives
8. Leadership & Stakeholder Influence
- Lead and influence a matrixed organization across country marketing, category, sales, and WW teams
- Drive alignment across diverse markets (Japan, ANZ, SEA, Korea, etc.)
- Represent Greater Asia in global forums, bringing market intelligence and insights

Requirements
Experience
- 12–15+ years of B2B/commercial marketing experience in technology or related industries
- Proven track record in demand generation, pipeline growth, and revenue impact
- Experience operating in regional/global, matrixed organizations
Skills
- Strong commercial acumen (connect marketing to revenue outcomes)
- Expertise in demand generation, ABM, and channel marketing
- Data-driven decision making and performance management
- Stakeholder influence across senior leadership (WW, regional, country)
- Executive communication and storytelling
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline (MBA preferred)
