Non-Clinical Assessor
Full Time, fixed term until end June 2025
Salary: $66,768 - $73,811 base salary per annum
Enterprise Agreement: Victorian Public Health Sector (Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025

About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic My Aged Care assessment team providing quality assessment to older, frail clients.

  • Undertake holistic non-clinical assessments of frail older people in the community and in hospitals
  • Review referrals and Support plan reviews and make appointments for assessments
  • Develop short term and long term care plans for clients taking into account their health, physical, social and functional needs

Classifications for this role will range from HS2 - HS21 ($66,768 - $73,811 per annum pro rata)

About You:
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Non-Clinical Assessor who possess a passion for person centred care. We welcome applications from people who may have a health qualification as an EN, Welfare worker, AHA, Cert IV in Aged Care. You will need a current Victorian driver's licence. We have a preference for Aged Care experience.

  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and negotiate solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to work effectively with service providers to achieve optimal outcomes for clients
  • Current National History Check, or willing to obtain

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia
2. Demonstrated commitment to excellence in Aged Care

3. At least 2 years' experience preferably in a health care setting

4. Well-developed knowledge of Aged Care assessment and service provision
5. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
6. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with service providers and clients to achieve optimal outcomes.
7. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
