This Position reports to:

Service Sales Manager, Southeast Asia


 

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty in your assigned accounts. Each day, you will assist with customers’ technical requests and engage with colleagues to take care of any technical issues. You will also showcase your expertise by managing service contracts deliverables, on time delivery, customers’ requirements, and financial Key Performance Indicators (KPI), while keeping track of performance metrics and communicating progress to internal and customer stakeholders.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Automation Energy Industries in South East Asia.


You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Supporting the customer in a proactive manner by anticipating the customer’s needs and leveraging familiarity with their assigned accounts.
  • Ensuring that the plant fleet under service agreement receives evolution plans and life cycle reports supported by technology segment experts.
  • Measuring, reporting, and presenting the value of the services delivered to key customer stakeholders ranging from Maintenance Managers to Plant Managers.
  • Identifying service and system sales opportunities to expand ABB’s value to the customer and for growing the service contracts with their assigned customers.


Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with over 10 years of experience in the relevant automation industry.

  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently across assigned plants.

  • Strong understanding of ABB’s service portfolio and offerings.

  • Experience in System Engineering (Symphony Plus and System 800xA) or direct Customer Technical Support.

  • Background in Project Management or Coordination.

  • Exposure to the energy industries (power generation and/or oil & gas).
